Support Me! - https://ko-fi.com/davidm0000 EDIT 7/17/26: Shader Injector 2.0 is out now! - https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy7rebirth/mods/2153 2.1 Breakdown - https://frostbone25.github.io/p/ff7-rebirth-global-illumination/ Welcome to the Preview of Shader Injector 2.0! This video is a preview of whats to come (not out yet), but along with a number of improvements to the backend (i.e. simplified setup process with no manual shader search) I wanted to share the suite of new modified shaders to come. The first shader you see is a work-in-progress modified ocean shader. Featuring stronger wave normals, caustics, chromatic dispersal, depth blur, and improvements to the SSR/Fallback reflections for better shading across the board. This should show up for most of the ocean chunks in the game, however the game has many water shader variants so not every surface will recieve this shader on release (future updates will bring more variants). The current water effects here will be tweaked to appropriate levels later as I have turned them up a bit... mostly because it looks pretty! The mod also comes with more revamped lighting shaders, bringing vastly enhanced shading across the board. Improved screen-space reflections with better coverage, and support for rough/glossy reflections. Experimental Screen-Space Global Illumination + AO for better light bounce/occlusion across the board. Among those are a bunch of smaller tweaks under the hood that work together to give you the results you see. The most notable being vastly reworked specular occlusion. This means dramatically less light/reflection leakage across many environments for a much more grounded and accurate apperance. The mod will also ship with a modified post process shader, with adjustable features for brightness/contrast/color, various tonemaps, and an experimental automatic exposure. As usual all of these features/shaders can be configured, enabled, or disabled so you can tweak things to look how you want and not be locked in to what I've done. In the meantime you can go ahead and get 1.5.1 on NexusMods now! I forgot to turn on performance metrics during recordings but average framerates were 80fps - 110fps with all shader features enabled. I dont like putting out release dates because I'm still working on the backend/shaders, and I want to put it out only when I feel it's ready. With that said I'm aiming for release within a week or two roughly. Буферизовано с YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YEYi96A_dZY) на время плохой работы YouTube.
